Privacy
Short version: we collect as little as we can, we never sell it, and visitors stay anonymous unless they choose to share an email.
If you visit a website that uses Guavar
Guavar keeps a random number in your browser (not a cookie) so it can tell one visit from another. With it we note:
- which pages of that website you looked at, and which website sent you there
- when Guavar spoke up, and what you tapped or answered
- whether you reached the website's sign-up page
We don't know your name. We don't follow you to other websites.
If you ask for a summary
We keep the email you type, and share it with the business whose website you were on, so they can reply to you. That's the only time Guavar asks for anything personal, and it's always your choice.
If you use Guavar for your business
- Your name and email, so you can sign in (handled by Clerk).
- Your plan and payments (handled by Stripe; we never see your card number).
- The public pages of your website, which Guavar reads to learn what you do.
Who helps us run Guavar
Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Clerk (sign-in), Stripe (payments) and Anthropic, through Vercel's AI Gateway (reading websites and writing answers). They only get what they need to do that job.
What we never do
- Sell or rent anyone's data.
- Use tracking cookies or advertising trackers.
- Show a visitor anything a business hasn't checked first.
Deleting your data
Business owners can delete a website, and everything about it, from their dashboard. Anyone can ask us to delete their data through our contact page. We'll do it within 30 days.
